Elmhurst College was looking to attract students to their School for Professional Studies informational sessions. They wanted to reach out to locals planning on attending grad school close to home.
Elk Grove Graphics, a Vomela Company, facilitated a multichannel marketing campaign in which we sent 5,000 personalized direct mail pieces to young undergraduates in the area to provide contact information and crucial details. Based on response, candidates received printed programs tailored to their area of study. Each program contained a personalized greeting, personalized URL. degree-specific introduction, and message from the program director.
After the informational session, each potential student was emailed a digital version of their program. The email content was customized based on attendance and online engagement.
Though mail campaigns aren’t cheap, Elmhurst College understands the importance of investing in students. The upfront cost is a small price to pay considering the long term benefits of exposure and engagement.
